Cancellation and refunds
- We require a 50% non-refundable retainer to secure a booking. This fee is non-refundable no matter the reason.
-Any cancellation will result in loss of the 50% non-refundable retainer.
-If the client chooses to cancel instead of reschedule AFTER the full amount is paid (1 week prior to event) they are responsible for all fees.
-Picnics by Emily will gladly work with the client to reschedule within 90 days of their scheduled event.
-In the case of rain, the client has up to 48 hours prior to the event to decide if they want to make alternate arrangements at an indoor location or reschedule the event.
-If there is an act of god DURING a clients event (ie. rain, animal interruption or shifting tides) there will be no refunds.
-It is the responsibility of the client to notify Picnics by Emily of any changes in location or date a minimum or 48 hours in advance. No rescheduling will be done after this time frame, only relocation.
-In the event of bad weather; Picnics by Emily reserves the right to relocate to the predetermined rain contingency plan. Alternate plans or rescheduling by the customer must occur 48 hrs prior to the event.
-The client must decide at the latest 8 hours before the event to move to rain contingency plan.
-If the client chooses to reschedule within 48 hours of the event they will be responsible for any fresh florals or food that has been purchased.
-Picnics by Emily has the right to charge the client full fees for services or goods that occurred or were purchased for the event (ie. florals, food, drinks etc.) before the cancellation.
Liabilities
-Picnics By Emily Is NOT liable for any injuries, or medical costs that may arise at your picnic.
-Picnics By Emily Is NOT liable for alcohol related tickets/incidents/expenses at your picnic.
